State-of-the-Art Shenandoah Biotechnology Relocates to a New and Improved Facility

Warminster, PA – Shenandoah Biotechnology is an ISO 9001:2015 and WBENC certified biotechnology company serving clients internationally and domestically across the USA for many years now. The company recently made the long-awaited move to their new state-of-the-art facilities in order to help their clients better. The company is now proud to announce to its clients that the move is complete, and the operations are back to full speed. With the move came a lot of advantages, the most notable being an improved protein production capacity. The company is better equipped to meet all their clients’ orders accurately and efficiently.

With the move, many sectors of the company saw a transformation or an expansion of activities. All these changes were customer-centric as they were intended to improve production capacity, reliability, and efficiency. Some sectors in which this improvement is evident include:

● New products – The new facility has enabled Shenandoah Biotechnology to venture into the production of a wide range of new products that it did not produce before. There are new human proteins, new rat proteins, and new mouse proteins now in production. Examples of such protein products currently in production are Human FGF-7, Mouse M-CSF, Human EGF, Human PDGF-AA and PDGF-BB, and Human IL-6, to name just a few. This introduction is essential for many clients since they no longer need to search for specific products from companies situated far from their laboratories.

● Protein bundle cost-efficiency – Thanks to their improved capacity, the company continues to manufacture recombinant proteins in bundles based on research protocols. This allows them to offer cost savings off the proteins that you most frequently purchase together. Another advantage is the flexibility that customers are afforded. They can control the specific concentrations and volumes since each protein product is packaged in a separate vial. If you culture dendritic cells, CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells, neural stem cells or polarize T cells, etc. These are the perfect products for your research.

● Quality and quantity improvement – The move was a change of physical location and marked the adoption of new and improved technologies and equipment. Shenandoah Biotechnology implemented new bio-command software, a new Tuttnauer autoclave, a 16×16 walk-in ColdBox, updated their HPLC software, added a state-of-the-art RODI water system, and a brand new air handling system.

Despite excelling in its core business, Shenandoah Biotechnology also takes part in many charitable projects as a means of giving back to the community. A few such projects include; Animals Australia, ‘Fly Pets to Freedom,’ and Hurricane Pets rescue.
