Sagars Home Improvements introduces 365 conservatory roofing in response to Covid-19

Conservatory Roof Insulation

Sagars, the Keighley-based home improvements company, has responded to the restrictions of the pandemic by introducing the 365 system, an ingenious design which fits neatly to the underside of existing conservatory roofs.

When a 365 roof is fitted, the outside of the conservatory looks virtually the same. Whereas the inside is fully clad with uPVC tongue and groove effect panels, complete with 25ml foil-backed insulation to keep you cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Sagars managing director, Nick Berard, said, ‘We were worried about going into people’s homes to build conservatories – keeping them safe and keeping our employees safe.’

‘Then we came up with the idea of the 365 system. A 365 roof can be fitted by two experienced installers while maintaining government-recommended social distancing. Our fitters enter and leave the conservatory using an outside door, but the inside door to the house is locked, so the customer is completely isolated while we’re on the premises.’

365 roofs have proved so successful that Sagars plan to continue offering the system when the pandemic is over.

Lower costs and quicker installation

‘The cost of a 365 system is about 25% of the cost of fitting a new tiled conservatory roof, and we can install it in a day compared with around a week for the tiled option,’ adds Sagars co-founder, Dinah Berard.

Once the 365 system is installed, the fitters clean the room thoroughly with  alcohol-based sanitiser, so everyone stays safe – and the new conservatory is ready to enjoy.

Guarantees and discounts

Sagars 365 conservatory roof systems are guaranteed for 10 years and there is a 25% discount on all 365 systems ordered in June.

Getting the best price

Sagars keep their costs down by cutting out the middleman. Customers deal directly with Sagars’ managers at all times.

Most of Sagars’ customers come from personal recommendations. The company doesn’t have to employ sales people or commission-only representatives at 20-30% commission.

The result? Customers get a unique combination – the best product at the best possible price.

Extra benefits

‘The fact that our 365 roofing makes your conservatory cooler in summer and warmer in winter means you can use the room all year round,’ says Nick. ‘You can choose to have it as a dining room, play room or office – and it extends the life of your conservatory roof while adding real value to your home.’

The insulated cladding means your conservatory will have high levels of energy efficiency, so bills will be lower and noise pollution will be cut, for example, rain noise is reduced by over a half.
