Dentist in Parlin Sayreville NJ Helped Veterans with Free Dentistry for Thanksgiving
Bright Smiles Dental in Parlin, NJ, founded and operated by Dr. Mariana Blagoev, has provided free emergency dental care for veterans as part of the effort to thank those who have served our country. Dr. Blagoev has previously held many charity events, all met with open arms by her local community. She has organized food drives, toy drives, free dental days and extended support for children, animal shelters, and many others.
The Free Dental Day for Veterans was designed to treat any U.S. veteran for free who had a dental need as a way to spread the spirit of the Thanksgiving season.
The Free Dental Day for Veterans was held on Thursday, November 21st from 8:30AM to 4:00PM at Dr. Blagoev’s dental office, Bright Smiles Dental.
As a way to thank them for their service, Bright Smiles Dental owner Dr. Blagoev has given local veterans an opportunity to take care of dental problems before they become more serious, and more costly.
Free dental services, including fillings, extractions, and cleanings were provided at NO COST, to as many veterans as possible on a first come, first served basis. The event went smoothly and efficiently, as several veterans came to receive free dental services.
“Veterans are not just soldiers, but they are brave heroes to us,” Dr. Blagoev said. “We are all very thankful for the sacrifices veterans have made for all of us, and we’re happy to give back with the best way that we can.”
Dr. Blagoev considers the cost of the giveaway in staff time and supplies to be minimal when compared to the benefit this event provided to veterans. “What is important is that people understand the two main dental diseases — tooth decay and gum disease — both are largely preventable with good oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist.” The free dental services at this event were especially helpful for prevention of these very common dental problems.
Dr. Blagoev added, “We will continue conducting different kinds of special events in Parlin to help strengthen our community.”
